Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has been added to the England squad for the upcoming games against Spain and Switzerland.
The BBC report that the call-up follows the news that Jordan Pickford was unable to train fully on Tuesday.
Bettinelli makes the cut despite not featuring in the Cottagers’ first two Premier League matches of the season.
Boss Slavisa Jokanovic prefered summer signing Fabri between the sticks for those fixtures, but Bettinelli returned to feature against Burnley and Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 26-year-old moved to Craven Cottage in 2011 and made his first-team debut for the club three years later after several loan spells.
England boss Gareth Southgate is familiar with the shot-stopper having selected him whilst managing the England U21s last year.
Bettinelli is unlikely to feature in the Spain match as it is the first in the new UEFA Nations League tournament but could be in contention for the friendly against Switzerland at Leicester’s King Power Stadium.
Pickford, Stoke City’s Jack Butland and Southampton’s Alex McCarthy are the other ‘keepers vying for selection.
