Fulham will reportedly rival Spanish giants Barcelona for the services of Zenit St Petersburg defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The Daily Mail report that the Cottagers and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace had previously enquired about the Serb’s availability and could yet move for the right-back again.
Ivanovic moved to the Russian club on a free transfer in February of last year and has since gone on to make 60 appearances and score five times.
The 34-year-old is of course most famous for his time with Fulham’s bitter rivals Chelsea, where he amassed 377 appearances in a successful nine-year spell at Stamford Bridge.

The player’s contract with Zenit runs out next summer and he could, therefore, be available on a free, although the club do have a one-year option on the versatile defender.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is keen to add experience to his squad, with many of his current charges playing in the Premier League for the first time.
The Cottagers currently have the leakiest defence in the league having conceded 21 goals in their eight matches to date.
Barcelona are keen to sign Ivanovic as short-term cover for Samuel Umtiti, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
