Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has reportedly been offered a new contract to remain with the Cottagers – but is so far refusing to sign it.
According to the Daily Mail, Jokanovic is waiting on assurances over his power in the January transfer market, having been unhappy with his lack of input in the summer deals.
Fulham spent in excess of £100m on new players following May’s promotion from the Championship, but that hefty outlay is yet to prove dividends.
The Cottagers sit 18th after 10 League matches, with their only win coming against Burnley at the end of August.
The report states that the new contract for the Serb has been on offer for ‘several weeks’, and it remains unclear if he intends to put pen to paper anytime soon.
Jokanovic has come under increasing pressure lately due to the club’s poor form, with many frustrated at the club’s defensive record, having conceded the most goals in the league at 28.
The 50-year-old’s current deal in West London runs out next summer and was reportedly offered an extension until 2022 back in August.
