Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has admitted that his future at the club may be taken out of his hands.
The Independent report that Jokanovic was open to the fact that he may be sacked should results not improve sooner rather than later.
The Cottagers suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat away at Huddersfield Town on Monday night, which was the Terriers’ first win of the Premier League season.
Fulham too have just one win from their 11 matches played, and are now rock bottom of the table, although they are only three points behind 14th placed Crystal Palace.

In addition, Jokanovic’s me have the worst defensive record in the league, with Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s own goal at the John Smith’s Stadium making it 29 goals conceded in 11 matches, which equals a Premier League record.
After the match, Jokanovic seemed keen to highlight the shortcomings of his players to date.
He said:
Part of the job is in the hands of my players, part is in the board’s hands too. I personally trust in myself. I will push hard. The solution can be from another side, the board can have some different views. This is part of the board’s responsibilities.
I remain confident. I know it’s not enough for the team, I know it’s not enough for the supporters what we offer right now at the beginning of the season. I’m working with these people for close to three years. People know how I am working and my mentality, but it is not only in my hands.
Other people need to offer a little bit more fight, a little bit more personality, more quality and more work. My players had some words after the game between them. But it is a little bit too late for us.
Next up for Fulham is a tricky trip to face Liverpool on Sunday before a crucial clash with fellow strugglers Southampton after the international break.
