Fulham keen to extend youngster Drameh’s contract
Fulham are reportedly keen to tie young prospect Cody Drameh down to a long-term contract at the club.
Sky Sports write that Drameh has been featuring regularly for the club’s U23 side this season, despite being just 16 years old.
Drameh plays at right-back and was in the news earlier this week for scoring a spectacular against Norwich City U23’s in the professional development league.
The full-back’s contract situation is reportedly drawing the interest of a number of England’s top clubs, although that is something Fulham are hopeful of resolving shortly.
The player is currently on a scholarship deal which runs out at the end of next season, meaning he would be able to move for a minimal fee.
The Cottagers are growing somewhat of a reputation for nurturing players from the academy into the first-team set-up, with the likes of Ryan and Steven Sessegnon, Marcus Bettenelli and 15-year-old Harvey Elliott all featuring.
