Fulham linked with Man United’s Matteo Darmian
Fulham will look to sign Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian in January, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web.
The right-back, who has also been known to feature at left-back, has made just three Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this season.
United boss Jose Mourinho has favoured either the experienced Antonio Valencia or £19m summer signing Diogo Dalot on the right side of the defence this campaign.
The Italian international moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of just under £13m, signing a four-year contract.
With that deal set to expire in the next seven months or so, the 29-year old could be available on a cut-price deal in January.
The Cottagers currently have another Manchester United right-back, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, on loan in West London until January, although Irish international Cyrus Christie has been featuring there in recent weeks.
Darmian isn’t short of suitors, with Lazio and Inter Milan reportedly keen on his services.
The Italian clubs would be able to negotiate a deal which allows the player to move on a free in the summer from January 1st onwards.
